Overview

This privacy policy applies to the TipShare app, published by Avila Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We collect only what's necessary to provide the service and do not sell or share your personal data for advertising purposes.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Phone number — used to create and authenticate your account via Firebase Authentication
• Your name — entered during account setup to personalize your experience
• Job and workplace names — entered by you to organize your shifts
• Shift data — tips earned, hours worked, shift type, and earnings you log
• Tax preferences — income range, filing status, state, and set-aside percentage

Collected automatically:

• Basic usage data collected by Firebase (Google) as part of authentication and database services
• In-app purchase records processed by Apple — we do not store payment information

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To store and sync your shift and earnings data
• To calculate estimated tax set-asides based on your preferences
• To restore your Pro subscription if you reinstall the app
• To respond to support requests

Third-Party Services

Data Storage & Security

Your shift data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your account via Firebase Firestore. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Data Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email avila.apps.llc@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account." We will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

TipShare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us immediately if you believe we have done so.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Getting Started

Sign up with your phone number — no password or email required. Set your name, add a job location, and configure your tax preferences to begin tracking shifts.

Logging a Shift

Tap the + button on the dashboard to add a shift. Enter your tips, hours worked, and shift type. TipShare calculates your hourly rate and estimated tax set-aside automatically.

TipShare Pro

The free version includes unlimited shift logging. Pro unlocks the Tax Estimator, full earnings history, and data export (CSV & PDF). Purchases are processed through your Apple ID. To restore a previous purchase, tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings.

Tax calculations are estimates only and are not tax advice. Consult a tax professional for your actual obligations.
